Deluxe Moon HD is a lovely chunk of lunar eye candy. Since Im out and about in the AM & PM walking my dog, I enjoy being able to quickly get moon locations in the sky before hitting the street. At first it gave my location incorrectly (based on ISP location I presume), but after entering the co-ordinates manually, its been right on. It would be nice to have a cache of 3 or four locations to select from, but otherwise Im thrilled with it. Great Job!

This is the one application that I keep open for viewing on my iMac Lion. The full screen view is incredible. Especially when you can navigate between at least 5 different screen views. Including the Full Moon Calendar one month at a time and the Astrological Calendar view with the click of one image. The five stars that I give to this application are very well deserved. For one improvement I would add the option to view the Moon Calendar and the Astrological Calendar Side by Side. There could also be a way to view the the full page Moon Calendars with a selection of four months showing (A simple view and size with Four Months in a grid square) Thank - you for the very comprehensive Moon Calendar application for my iMac Lion.

The upgrade to 1.33 cleaned up a few minor issues with some overlapping info display between the three modes. A more major problem that sometimes occured where the moon phase shown was not correct for the corresponding month seems to have been attended to as well. The developer was responsive to my complaints about these issues and promised that I’d be pleased with their upgrade. I am. A fine app, especially on a 27” monitor, I consult it daily. Now how about an equally beautiful app that combines moon phases with Tides ? A real boon for we coastal dwellers.

The app does not permit accurate lat/lon entries. Latitude entries only go to 59 minutes which means those of us who are located more than 59 minutes above/below our local latitude are not accurately placed in the app. Why is this important? because it means our phases are slightly off as is our solar time. These two discrepancies will get worse over time. Other than this, it’s a baeutoiful app well-done. If the developer fixes the lat/lon problems and provides the ability to set them precisely, I’ll change my rating.

I was really just looking for an app I could reference quickly to see the current phase of the moon, but this was is so beautifully done! I love how this app works based on your current location, for maximum accuracy! I could spend hours researching the various phases, upcoming calendar, and assosciated astrological signs. Great app for astrology enthisiasts or anyone just interested in tracking the upcoming moon cycle.

Great touches, like watching the light track across the moons surface as you drag your mouse cursor across it to change the day, make this App a great buy if you want to learn more about the moon and have fun doing it!

Very nice app and calendar. Quick way to check what sign the moon is in. Nice that it it also considers sideral astrology. Cant beat the price since paper calendars are usually $20 or more.

As a fine art photographer who likes to include the moon in his scenic photographs it is fabulous. All info I need is available, Thanks for helping my art.

I bought this app after buying Deluxe Moon Pro for my iPhone. This app has everything I need to know about the moon. I recommend it highly. The support is great also. They have been quick to fix bugs that were on the original version.

Any way to plot coordinates from different countries?

i like it but not worth $5. please add functions: - lunar calender dates!! please? - option to keep as screensave and/or wallpapers - music: continuous play and/or add more instrumentals - add option to change location, to see how moon is elsewhere, not just where the person is. - maybe add horoscope?

This is a very well done display of lunar information. I havent found any bugs or misbehaviors yet and doesnt appear to use a lot of resources. One thing I would love to see is a display/graph of the azimuth and elevation of the Moon during the course (time) of its visible period of the day to help plan photo shoots for a given date & location. Overall, very well done and worth paying a few bucks for rather than just getting the information from various free sources Ive used in the past. A beautiful app to look at. Ill rate it at 4 1/2 moons :)
